*Information to be added or removed: Kempner is currently Co-producing and Co-directing "Imagining the Indian: The Fight Against Native American Mascoting", a full length documentary exploring the history of using Native American images in mascoting and the current fight to change the name of current professional sports teams.
Kempner is also producing and directing a full length documentary on Academy Award winning Hollywood screenwriter, Ben Hecht. Ben Hecht was a Jewish screenwriter as well as novelist, playwright, journalist, and activist. He worked to rescue European Jewry and helped to expose the nature of the Holocaust and the need for a Jewish homeland to the American public.
- Explanation of issue: Kempner is working on multiple new projects that are not reflected on her wikipedia page References supporting change: http://imaginingtheindianfilm.org, http://benhechtfilm.org, https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12405432/, https://www.thewrap.com/imagining-the-indian-trailer-washington-redskins/, https://www.colorlines.com/articles/watch-imagining-indian-tells-history-movement-against-mascots, https://filmpittsburgh.org/films/imagining-the-indian-the-fight-against-native-american-mascoting, https://www.thewrap.com/category/category-hollyblog/aviva-kempner/page/7/, Jciesla (talk) 17:10, 14 December 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose: The proposed citations are directories, listings, credits, brief mentions, etc. We need proper biographies and more in-depth works as opposed to piecing together brief mentions. CorporateM (Talk) 04:33, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
- An anonymous user went ahead and edited in the requested phrases, in spite of your opposition. I added 2 references for it, which are reliable and independent. It seems it has been edited by a COI, but the edit is objective/non-controversial and I don’t think it warrants a COI banner.Ferkijel (talk) 16:55, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
